Liverpool model Danielle Lloyd was left red-faced when she was refused entry to Tesco for flouting their 'no pyjamas' rule.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant was shopping dressed in a £120 Juicy Couture tracksuit when an in-store security guard at Tesco Express in Theydon Bois, Essex, mistook her attire for nightwear.
The 26-year-old Twittered: "Just went to Tesco and the man says to me, 'You can't wear pyjamas in here'.
"I said, 'I ain't got pyjamas on'. He said, 'You sure?' Cheeky **** – Juicy tracky, it's Sunday. They must think they're posh. I know I am terrible but I don't care what I wear to the shops."
Lloyd, who is engaged to Portsmouth footballer Jamie O'Hara, is launching her own range of tracksuits this spring.
Tesco introduced the new rules, which also ban customers shopping in bare feet, in response to customers complaining that the relaxed shopping habits of some made them uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Shopper Elaine Carmody, 24, was one of the first to fall foul of Tesco’s new rules, and was escorted from its store in St Mellons, Cardiff, by a security guard last week.
