Over 6,000 Liverpool FC fans march against Gillett and Hicks

Over 6,000 Liverpool supporters have taken to the streets of Anfield to protest against the current ownership of the club.

Fans set off from a meeting held by unofficial supporters' union Spirit of Shankly this lunchtime to demonstrate against co-chairmen George Gillett and Tom Hicks who have endured a turbulent spell at the Kop helm admist reports of financial irregularities which caused supporters to call for their resignations.
