Liverpool's favourite WAG Alex Curran has been signed up by fashion style-bible Vogue.
The 27-year-old model, who is married to Liverpool FC footballer Steven Gerrard, has flown to New York to be photographed for the US version of the magazine.
Alex has been shot for the December issue by their top photographer Alistair Guy, after executives decided to feature the wife of an England football star.
The mother of two, who has been following a new gruelling fitness regime in a bid to tone up her figure, was shot over several days during London Fashion Week and had a separate studio shoot arranged.
A insider said: "The spread has been pencilled in for five pages and she may even be the cover."
"Alex is over the moon about it and can’t wait – she has always wanted to appear in the magazine.
"She was shocked to be asked but delighted to take part."
The bolnde fashion colomnist is often seen in colourful summer Maxi dresses, shredded scarfs, studded platform boots and has recently been spotted wearing new slinky ripped denims from American fashion designers J Brand.
Fellow soccer WAG Victoria Beckham, 35, was due to be the cover star for last month's issue but was dropped after she appeared on the front of rival mag Elle.
