The nominations have been revealed for this year's MOBO Awards, and bookies Paddy Power have been quick to tout Dizzee Rascal as their red-hot favourite to scoop the gong for best hip-hop act at this years ceremony.
Tinchy Stryder looks odds on to join Dizzee as the big winner at the star-studded ceremony in Glasgow on September 30th. Paddy Power have the 22-year-old rapper as favourite to win the Best Album category, for his acclaimed second album Catch 22.
He also looks favourite to scoop two more top awards, and is tipped to win Best Song for his collaboration with N Dubz, "Number 1". As if this wasn’t enough for the Londoner, he is also the bookies favourite for success in the Best UK Artist category, which Dizzee Rascal scooped at last years award.
R&B Queen, Beyonce, is already the clear favourite for the Best International Artist category, and is also expected to win the Best Video category for her 2008 anthem "Single Ladies".
A spokesman at bookmakers Paddy Power said, "It looks like this could be Tinchy Stryder’s year with punters tipping him for success in three major categories".
