Troubled Kerry Katona's stepsister has spoken of the "horrific" extent of Kerry's cocaine addiction.
The reality TV star's stepsister, Pat Ferrier, has claimed she witnessed part of Kerry's nose falling out in the bathroom after a cocaine binge.
Last week The News Of The World published photographs and video footage of the 28-year-old mother allegedly showing her taking the class A drug in her home in Wilmslow.
Kerry has subsequently been axed from adverts for the Iceland supermarket chain after the pictures emerged of her apparently snorting cocaine.
Pat Ferrier breaks years of silence to reveal the full inside story of tragic Kerry's downfall, including Kerry's sad prediction: "I will die young."
Pat described the moment when Kerry held out the stray bit of nostril in her outstretched hand, and confessed: "I've got a hole in the nose 'cos of the coke. This has just come out."
She recalled: "We were in America for our dad's funeral last year when the hole first started to develop. Kerry was in the bathroom for ages. I'd seen her take the tweezers in and I said, 'What you doing?'
"She said, 'I'll be out in a minute.' Then in her hand she's got this thing that she dragged out of this hole in her nose.
"It looked like when you get the fat off bacon. I've got a strong stomach but that was almost too much."
Kerry fears she'll need reconstruction surgery to correct her crumbling nose just like actress Danniella Westbrook, whose septum was almost completely eroded as a result of cocaine abuse.
Worried Pat hopes her revelations will make Kerry see sense before it is too late.
She said: "Kerry's life is out of control now. She IS a drug addict. Her nose IS caving in - I've seen it with my own eyes. She needs to get help or she'll DIE.
"If she doesn't change her ways and keeps on going like this she'll be dead before she's 30. She'll kill herself.
"And I've told her that. Shockingly, Kerry agreed with me. She just turned around and said, 'I'm going to tell you something Pat. My mum will outlive me. I'll die young.' "
Pat was Kerry's housekeeper until March this year and a regular fixture in her MTV reality series. The I'm A Celebrity jungle queen considered her stepsister to be the one person she could confide in.
"Kerry's always been a part of my life," said Pat. "We've considered each other to be sisters and best friends.
"We used to talk about everything. I love her so much and it's too upsetting to see what she's become."
Stepsister Pat revealed: "The hole has got bigger and has penetrated through to the other side. Kerry can put the end of her glasses into it.
"She's shown it to people. And it makes this funny whistling sound when she breathes through her nose.
"Kerry told me that when she sniffs up she gets it. I heard it. It's a very low whistle, as if your nose is blocked and you're just getting some air through."
"Kerry sees herself having a tragic early death like movie star Marilyn Monroe. But that's just her trying to glamorise it.
"Marilyn was one of the most famous women in the world and Kerry's hardly in her league.
"If Kerry dies because of her drug addiction it will be a tragedy because she's got so many reasons to live, like her children for starters.
She should be concentrating on living, not thinking about her death - because she WON'T be remembered in the same iconic way as Marilyn."
"I hope this is the wake-up call to straighten herself out," she added.
She blames husband Mark Croft, 39, for encouraging drug use, leading Kerry into horrific binges to cope with troubles in their marriage.
"But my fear is that with Mark her husband alongside she won't realise she needs to change until it's too late. The way she's going she'll either wind up dead or in a psychiatric ward.
"She'd be better off making a clean start in a small house with just her and the kids - but with Mark pulling the strings that won't happen.
"The important thing now is that she can never again deny her drug use.
"She's lied and denied for years, insisting she's clean, but in a few years her kids will be able to use the internet for themselves and the first thing they'll do is look up their mum. And that video will be staring them in the face.
"Kerry's got a massive responsibility on her shoulders. She really needs to quit drugs now for herself and also for the sake of her children before it's too late."
