TV personality and model Abbey Clancy has revealed she has used invisible braces to correct her "crooked" smile.
Stunning Clancy told how she wore a removable clear brace for just under a year to overcome insecurities about her looks.
Peter Crouch's fiancee Abbey underwent 'Invisalign' treatment at the Tracey Bell clinic in Liverpool before the couple's move to Portsmouth.
'Invisalign' is an orthodontic treatment for adults who want to straighten crooked teeth and correct their bite.
The patient is fitted with invisible aligners which can be removed to eat, drink and floss.
Blonde Abbey, who also received tooth whitening and oral hygiene treatment at the beauty clinic, said: "My teeth were goofy and crooked, I felt they stuck out.
"In pictures it was always obvious to me.
"I would never smile to show my teeth in photos.
"I didn't know about the clear braces available until I went to Tracey Bell.
"When I was a younger I was a model and you can't model with a conventional brace.
"I used to present and film The Fashion Show with George Lamb with the braces in, I feel funny when they are not in.
"I have done photos shoots with them in as well.
"I was really shy about smiling and it gave me more confidence.
Abbey's treatment took just under a year, and since moving to Portsmouth with Crouch she returns to the Liverpool clinic for regular check ups.
Abbey explained that her confidence has soared since the transformation of her smile and she would recommend treatment to anyone.
Abbey added: "I feel loads more confident and I love the result.
"There's no question about it. If you are thinking about invisible braces go for it.
"It's a small price to pay for confidence and a perfect smile.
"Other people might not notice what you notice, but if something about yourself bothers you, then you should find out what you can do about it!"
Tracey Bell's clinics have seen a 260 per cent increase in whitening and restorative dentistry in the past 12 months.
Clinic owner, beauty expert Tracey Bell said: "Teeth are important.
"We bare our teeth every time we communicate, eat and show our emotions.
"People expect more from the dental profession these days.
"They expect only the very best - but not always the extreme Hollywood smile that appears in glossy magazines.
"People want 'The Natural Smile.'
"The Invisalign treatment is a popular choice."
Celebrities including Natasha Hamilton and Jo Calzagie's partner Jo Emma Lavin have visited the Tracey Bell clinic to "reinvent" their natural smiles.
