
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has become a father after his wife has given birth to beautiful baby daughter.
The happy couple looked delighted as they showed off their first child outside the Policlinico hospital in Galicia, Spain.
Delivered on Wednesday, the bouncing baby girl weighed 8lb 4oz and has been named Nora.
Olalla Dominguez, 23, was keen to give birth in her home region of Galicia.
The newly wed couple have been an item for eight years and lived together in Madrid before moving to the UK.
Torres and childhood sweatheart Olalla were married in a private ceremony with just two guests at the end of May in the local town hall in El Escoril, a suburb north of Madrid.
Their private understated wedding ceremony was presided over by a local councillor with the minimum of fuss.
Liverpool talisman, Torres, has become one of the world's greatest strikers since signing for Liverpool for £20million from Atletico Madrid, in July 2007.
The 25-year-old Spainish hitman, knicknamed El Nino (The Kid), helped Spain win the European Football Championship last year.
He grew up in Madrid but spent every summer in the seaside town of Estorde, in Galicia in north-west Spain - where Olalla's family also visited for summer vacations.
On onlooker said: 'What wonderful news for the childhood seathearts. They look really happy together and it's good to see them pose happily for fans with their baby outside the hospital.
'He's obviously a very proud father and it just shows how down to earth they both are. Congratulations.'
