FRIENDS of Michael Jackson have revealed their shock at the pop stars death.
"I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news.
"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don''t have the words.
"Divinity brought our souls together on The Wiz and allowed us to do what we were able to throughout the 80's.
"To this day, the music we created together on "Off The Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad"" is played in every corner of the world and the reason for that is because he had it all... talent, grace, professionalism and dedication.
"He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever.
"I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."
Hollywood star Joe Pesci said: "He re-invented himself numerous times, he was a fun guy, he did so much.
"He was a great entertainer, great dancer, maybe he blew his heart with it all.
"No-one ever done it like Michael, it's amazing what he achieved, so well deserved.
"He was really looking forward to getting back on the stage."
Uri Geller, was a close pal of Jacko's and the pop star acted as best man when Geller renewed his wedding vows in 2001.
And Geller has expressed his sadness at the news.
He said: "I can't comment on the last time I seen him, but he was rehearsing for concerts, looking forward to performing in Britain.
"He was the best man when I renewed my wedding vows, I produced half of his new CD, I just don't want to believe it.
"I just want to speak to his family and see, I won't believe it until I hear it from a doctor, I want to hear it from a doctor.
