Hollyoaks babes inject some glamour into Chester races

Hollyoaks cast with the winners

The Hollyoaks cast brought glitz and glamour to a windy Chester racecourse on Tuesday, for the annual night meeting.

TV babes Carley Stenson and Jessica Fox, looked hot to trot with in their respective outfits.

Carley, 26, was pretty in pink in puffball dress and black heels, while Jessica, also 26, looked glamorous in a full-length layered floral dress from Lipsy.

Other stars of the hit teen soap included hunky heart-throb Ricky Whittle, Ashley Taylor-Dawson, and a tanned Nick Pickard.

Real life couple Carley and Ricky were on hand to assist a panel of judges to select the Chester Racecourse Best Dress Lady 2009.

A gaggle of women arrived in their most fancy outfits and hats in a bid to claim the prize in the best dressed fest.

But first prize, a £1,000 gift card courtesy of the Trafford Centre in Manchester, went to Zoe Burns.

The blonde babe, had woken at 4am to get her hands on the limited edition Kate Moss Topshop frock and teamed it with a pair of Terrence de Hallivand wedges.

Second prize was a designer handbag from Tessuti Woman, third, a deluxe pampering package from Dove Spa and fourth, a meal for two at the racecourse’s own Restaurant 1539.

Speaking at the event, Carley said: "I have never been asked to judge a fashion competition before, but it is great.

"Everyone has really made the effort, it was so hard to pick a winner.

"I have my own sense of style which is really eclectic, but I try and mix and match.

"I know what I look good in, and I know what I look bad in.

"I mean I would never be brave enough to wear the stuff that the Pussycats Dolls wear."
