Sex and the City's maneater Kim Cattrall spent the day ducking and diving from paparazzi on a recent trip to Liverpool.

The 52-year-old blonde bombshell played a game of cat and mouse with photographers, who were desperately trying to get a shot of her as she made her way round the city.

Widnes born Kim, made the trip to Merseyside for a relative's 80th birthday and visited her auntie and uncle who still reside in leafy suburb Mossley Hill.

The A-lister, best known for playing sex-mad Samantha Jones in the hit TV series, went relatively unnoticed as she shopped in the city yesterday wearing casual clothes, sunglasses and no make-up.

But spotters said she attended the Beatles Story and Babycream, before heading to the Bluecoat restaurant for lunch with a friend.

One plucky photographer successfully managed to track down Kim, but was set-upon by her furious uncle, who captured him in a coat and shoved him away causing him to fall to the ground.

One onlooker said: "You could hardly tell it was Kim.

"She was wearing a turquoise blue coat and no make-up but she still had that effortless glamour.

"Her shoes and handbag looked very expensive though.

"There was a photographer following her all day which she looked annoyed about.

"But the old guy who was with her flipped his lid, took off his coat and threw it over the photographer.

"They ended up having a big argument.

"It looked like a real heated exchange and Kim just scarpered."
