BOB Dylan has admitted he would love to collaborate with Paul McCartney.

Dylan, whose latest album "Together Through Life" is currently number one on both sides of the Atlantic, had admitted working with Macca would be exciting.

The pair have been friends since the early 1960's and have hinted at working together on numerous occassions.

And in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Dylan has revealed a duet is a definite possibility.

He said: "That would be exciting, to do something with Paul.

"But, you know, your paths have to cross for something like that to make sense.."

McCartney's spokesperson said: "I should think he would be very interested in hearing about it.

"As you can imagine, it would be a pretty major thing if it went ahead."
