WHEN an artist calls Janis Joplin her biggest influence, a dull show is never going to be on the cards.
And platinum-selling singer Pink didn't disappoint a sell-out crowd in Liverpool when her Funhouse tour hit the ECHO Arena last night.
During an eventful 21-song set, the princess of pop almost blew the roof off the venue after opening the night with a cover of AC/DC classic Highway to Hell.
And that was just the start of a string of covers for the eccentric star, with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and Gnarls Barkley's Crazy part of her impressive repertoir.
Soon enough though it was on to her own songs, an acoustic version of her classic tune Trouble captured audience hearts while Just Like A Pill kept them addicted to a thoroughly enjoyable show.
Other classics, such as So What, Leave Me Alone, You and Your Hand, and Get The Party Started continued the feel-good factor of the night.
The American singer also belted through heartfelt songs Family Portrait about her parents' divorce, and Who Knew, about the friends she lost to drugs.
Now on her fifth album, Pink has lost none of her appeal - we're just looking forward to her 6th and 7th.. and 8th....
