Jennifer Biddall talks about Hollyoaks return

SHE made her name as Jessica Harris in Hollyoaks, but don't expect the gorgeous Jennifer Biddall to reprieve her role in the hit soap anytime soon.

Jennifer, who left the soap in 2008, is a massive favourite with fans, who recently started an online petition to get her back on the show.

But Jen would rather ditch the chance of a re-union in the Dog and Pond in favour of a pint down The Rovers, after admitting she would love to appear in another soap.

Speaking to Click, the 28-year-old said: "I loved Hollyoaks, I made some great friends there and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

"I left because I wanted to get more involved in the theatre and it is very easy to get stuck somewhere so I wanted to branch out.

"I would consider some kind of a return and I'd come back for something to do with Zoe definitely.

"To be honest I'd love to do another soap, that would be interesting.

"I don't think I'd come back to Hollyoaks permanently, but you just don't know."

Despite her soap roots, the actress is currently touring the UK alongside former Emmerdale star Ben Freeman in the play Dreamboats and Petticoats The Musical.

The theatre adaption of the hit CD, tells the story of talented young musicians Norman (Ben Freeman) and Bobby (Scott Bruton) who compete for the hearts of their female fans.

And Jen has admitted she never thought in a million years she would show of her singing talents on stage.

She added: "I Never thought in my life I'd be in a musical.

"Hollyoaks was great because if you do something wrong you can do it again, but in this case you were completely exposed.

"You can't bring any problems on stage, you just have to get on with it.

"I play a woman called Sue who is a very flirty character.

"I set my sites on Norman, who is Ben's character and he doesn't seem too interested, so I then go with Scott's character to make him jealous.

"I am a bit like Sue in real life but a bit more friendly regarding girls and boys.

"I'd never ask a man out my self, I'm terrible with stuff like that."

Unlike Jennifer, talented Scott Bruton, who found fame on the X-Factor, is starring in his first ever play,

And Scott has admitted it was "scary" to take on the role of Bobby.

Scott said: "It was scary to play Bobby because I've never done anything remotely as big as this.

"I did drama in college but never really paid attention to it.

"My character Bobby is an Essex boy whose timid and quite shy but loves music.

"But as far as persona goes we are completely different.

"I remember when I first got the role I stayed up fro two days watching re-runs of Eastenders to master the accent.

"I was working with some great people and Ben and Jenn really helped me through so it was great.

"This is a play everyone can get involved in and relate to so I recommend people go and see it."

Dreamboats & Petticoats comes to the Empire from Mon 22 - Sat 27 June.
