Hell's Kitchen reject Jody Latham is in hot water with council chiefs after the pub he owns breached safety regulations.
Jody, who was the first contestant to be booted off the hit reality show, opened celeb hangout "Jacks" in December last year.
But the boozer in Barrowford, Pendle, has been labelled a real life "Hell's Kitchen" by locals, who fear the unfinished premises is a "disaster waiting to happen."
Pendle Council were forced to act when residents revealed side doors to the premises were left wide open exposing a string of hazardous materials including rusty nails and exposed wires - easily accessible to young children playing just yards away.
One resident, who didn't want to be named, raged: "While Jody has been living it up in Hell's Kitchen his pub has been putting people's safety at risk.
"My kids play in the street all the time and leaving those doors open is unresponsible.
"My little lad is only six and if he had ran through those gates I dread to think what could have happened.
"The place looked awful, there was loose wires hanging from the ceiling, rusty nails knocking about, rubbish overflowing from the bins - it was a disgrace.
"Even the front steps are a joke, they are made out of MDF and are nowhere near an acceptable standard.
"This place is a real-life Hell's Kitchen.
"If this isn't sorted soon the place needs to be shut down before something terrible happens."
Jody, 27, has now been told to clean up his act, or risk losing the license for his local watering hole.
A spokesperson for Pendle Council confirmed: "In response to a series of complaints, Pendle Council's Licensing Service together with a representative of Lancashire Fire & Rescue, visited Jack's Bar, Gisburn Road, Barrowford to carry out a safety review of the external areas.
"The Designated Premises Supervisor of the bar has admitted that the exit gates should have remained closed to ensure public safety.
"He has also made assurances that the staging at the front of the premises is only a temporary measure which will be addressed within the next two weeks.
"During the visit, contractors were instructed to remove debris such as redundant cabling, pallets and general builders' waste from an area that had accumulated during recent refurbishment work.
"Lancashire Fire & Rescue are in the process of issuing a minor breaches notice, advising the premises of the necessary work that needs to be implemented to ensure that the area is safe.
"Both Pendle Council and Lancashire Fire & Rescue will continue to work closely with the premises.
"We will make a further follow up visit to verify that the appropriate safety advice has been followed."
*Jody was joined by a string of celebrity pals during the pubs launch in 2008.
Over 30 professional boxers, including Michael Gomez and Michael Jennings attended the star-studded event.
Former Manchester United footballer Lee Sharpe was among the celebrity crowd during the launch while band Reverand and the Makers have also played at the venue.
Speaking about his plans for the pub, Jodie said during opening night: "We're aiming to bring a little bit of the city to Barrowford.
"We're really fortunate because it is a vibrant village, with some great boutiques, shops and pubs and we'd like to contribute to that."
