FORMER Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona allegedly threw out hubby Mark Croft because he was "bleeding her dry".
Kerry, who ended her relationship with her cabbie husband through Facebook, was furious at not being able to pay bills despite making a fortune from recent magazine deals.
And after confronting Croft about his lavish spending, Mark tried to re-assure Kerry the couple didn't need money after revealing he had 455,000 pounds stashed away in an account.
Speaking to an MTV crew, Kerry said: "This has to end.
"Mark has bled me dry.
"He won't take another penny of my money."
Mark revealed to her that he had put a chunk of money in the firm Modena Developments, which he is a director of, in a desperate bid to save their marriage.
But Kerry fumed: "Mark is dead to me. I'm going to do everything possible to keep him out of my life for good. I have to."
Speaking to the News of the World about Mark's hidden savings, a source said: "Mark stuck this statement under her nose and said, 'Here you go, we've got the money. So just stop bloody worrying about it."
"All of Kerry's earnings are paid to her company KK Media, and she had no idea how such a sum came to be in Modena's account.
"It shook her faith in Mark badly and she asked him to leave."
Last night Croft was trying to patch things up but distraught Kerry said: "Everyone else thought Mark was bad news all along but I stupidly trusted him. What a fool."
She has been wed to the 38-year-old former cabbie for just over two years, and they have two children, Heidi, two, and 11-month-old Max.
Since meeting Croft in 2006, she has earned 6 million pound-plus.
But much of it has been lavished on her new husband, who was a 16,000-pound-a-year cabbie with a 1,000 pound Vauxhall before they got together.
His recent extravagances include 1.4 million pound fleet of luxury cars, which he was adding to even after his wife was declared bankrupt last summer over an 82,000 pound tax bill.
This year Kerry has pocketed 40,000 pound from a magazine article, had her 285,000 pound-a-year Iceland ad deal renewed and her return as an OK! columnist confirmed.
