BRIT winner Duffy has come under a barrage of criticism from fans for her singing in a new advert.
Internet forums are being bombarded by web users after a less than impressive vocal performance from the Rock Ferry star in the latest Diet Coke advert.
During the 60-second clip, Duffy is seen riding around a supermarket on a bike while belting out the classic Sammy Davis Jnr hit I've Got To Be Me.
But despite scooping a hattrick at the BRITs, fans have described Duffy's singing on the add as "terrible".
A viewer known as Getty wrote on popular web message board digital spy: "I haven't a clue what's happened to her voice, but it sounds dreadful in the TV advert.
"She sounds like one of those singers at an X-factor audition, who get rejected and insulted by Cowell."
Fan Andy-G added: "She's just won Brit awards and sold loads of albums and then loses any cred by doing an awful AD like this.
"I suppose the fee was too good to turn down, shame on her."
Another user, newda898 raged: "I quite like her voice normally, it's unique and she's definitely talented.
"But in this advert she just sounds terrible! As someone else said, like she's got a mega blocked nose."
The comments are a massive blow to Duffy, who celebrated scooping best British album, British female and British breakthrough award at the ceremony in west London.
Speaking after collecting her award for British female, the 24-year-old said: "It's a real honour to be here.
"British female - I don't know what that means, but it's a good job my mum didn't have a boy."
A spokesperson for Coca-Cola said: "Diet coke has always tried to engage with people through its advertising.
"We are extremely proud of the advert and feel that Duffy demonstrates the confident attitude of strong, independent women today.
"The advert is not a depiction of real life and is meant to be a piece of light-hearted entertainment for consumers to enjoy"
Duffy's spokesperson declined to comment.
