Internet sales companies have been slammed for heartless profiteering as they cash-in on the reputation of dying mum Jade Goody.
A tide of Goody memorabilia has been flooding auction sites like Ebay, since the mother of two announced she had terminal cancer and only had weeks to live.
Commercial sales outfits are charging anything between 20 pounds and 100 pounds for signed books, photos and perfume sets.
But despite the over-the-odds pricing, only a handful are donating any money to Jade's nominated charity Cancer Research UK.
One online company, Packet Post UK Ltd, is flogging signed copies of the stricken star's autobiography for 1000 pounds.
But the callous company bosses claim they are only exploiting the Jade name in the same way she has done herself.
Essex-based Packet Post, claims to be one of the Ebay's largest UK sellers boasting more than 1,500 customers every week.
But fans of the former Big Brother star have branded the company sick, and say their offer of a donation Cancer Research is not enough considering the profits they will make.
A source close to Jade said: "Some people are just sick.
"How can you take something so tragic and make money from it? They are just heartless.
"Ebay should monitor callous companies like this and force them to hand over outrageous profits clearly made from the suffering of others.
"Selling a signed Jade autobiography for more than a thousand pound is great if the money is going to Cancer Research.
"For this company to keep most of the money made on the sales shows how callous and greedy they are.
"They are making thousands from Jade's illness and will probably make even more from her death.
"To give 500 pounds is an insult to Jade and Cancer sufferers everywhere."
Packet Post claim Jade is milking her illness for every penny she can get and they are only doing the same.
A spokeswoman for Packet Post UK said: "We have a few books in stock and we are not doing anything illegal.
"Some may think the price is high but people are willing to pay it so why shouldn't we charge it?
"We have said we will make a donation to Cancer Research which is more than most are doing.
"Jade is making a whole hoo-ha of her cancer so why shouldn't we?
"She has no dignity. She is exploiting herself for cash and we are only do the same."
Jade's agent Max Clifford said: "Jade's reasons for going public with her cancer are totally understandable.
"Jade wants to make as much money as she can for her boys in order for them to have the best education and future.
"Jade has also done this for women all over Britain; there has been a huge increase in the amount of women going for a cervical smear test because of her.
"The online companies can only answer for themselves."
