Jade Goody's new husband Jack Tweed has been found guilty of assualting a taxi driver.
Tweed was found guilty of assault at Epping Magistrate's Crown Court after a taxi driver claimed he threatened to stab him in the face after a disagreement over the fare.
Cab driver Steve Wilkins, 54, also said that Tweed, 21, had pulled on the handbrake during the argument, casuing the vehicle to career across the road, narrowly avoiding a serious accident.
The court heard how Tweed and his friends were being driven home from a club in the early hours when Tweed flew into a rage after the cab driver started to drive back to his base after they refused to pay the £50 fare.
Mr Wilkins told the court: "He pulled his arm around my neck and pulled me tightly against the head-rest. He pulled his face up to the side of my face and screamed, 'I will stab you you f******* c***.' I was driving and it was very, very dangerous.
"He then reached across to the handbrake and yanked it up. He was being so aggressive his spit was flying into my face. It was a very dangerous situation and I was scared."
Tweed only stopped when another taxi driver pulled over. Mr Wilkins also claimed that Tweed's friends were laughing at the situation, finding it "amusing" while their female companions were "screaming in fear."
Tweed claims to have no recollecton of the incident and told the court: "All I remember about the night is I was very drunk. I must have had a lot to drink or had my drink spiked."
He added: "I've been in a car crash before and nearly died, I don't muck about in cars."
He was remanded on bail to be sentenced at a later date.
