It seems Alex Curran's aim to spend less has hit a hitch - for the sexy Scouser has decided to splash out on a sexy outfit for Valentine's Day.
The blonde beauty is being whisked away for a romantic three-day trip to Dubai by footballer hubby Steven Gerrard.
Wearing black trousers and a leather jacket, the 26-year-old spent the morning scouring her favourite boutiques and pampering herself for the big weekend.
A source said: "Alex was telling anyone who listened how much she was looking forward to Valentine's Day.
"She doesn't usually get to spend it with Steven because of the football.
"But with him being injured they've booked a holiday.
"She's been trying to cut down on spending, but considering it's a special occasion she decided to get her hair done and has even splashed out on some new clothes.
"It's going to be a Valentine's Steven will never forget."
