CHRIS Brown has commented for the first time about his alledged attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, telling pals "you'll begin to see her true colours."
The RnB superstar posted the comment to friends on his private Facebook page, just days after the frenzied attack.
Barbados-born singer Rihanna suffered "horrific injuries" after the altercation, thought to be caused after the 20-year-old singer confronted Brown about his womanising.
Rihanna could now be forced to undergo plastic surgery after suffering a bloody nose, split lip and injuries to her forearm during the assault.
But in a remarkable act of selfishness, Brown has hinted the blame lies with his former partner and has now changed his relationship status to single.
Brown has been in hiding since the incident and is thought to be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
A source close to Brown said: "Chris wants to get away from everyone at the moment.
"He's decided to go underground until everything calms down.
"The incident itself is between Chris and Rihanna but things have been rocky for a long-time.
"She is a very controlling person and has tested his patience so many times.
"People think Rihanna is the innocent victim in all of this but there is a lot people do not know.
"Chris thinks with time people will start to see what he's had to put up with for the past few months."
