Babyshambles star Pete Doherty reckons he won't mind if he is evicted from his country mansion, because the place is haunted!

The former Libertines frontman is convinced the halls of his Wiltshire home are occupied by ghosts who constantly have parties in the properties west wing.

But the junkie rocker has refused to investigate the strange noises, preferring to hide in his room untill the ghosts parties cease.

The 29-year-old said: "My house is definitely haunted.

"A couple of time you'll be sitting there then all of a sudden you hear a mad party going on in the west wing.

"It used to be an old servants quarters, which is creepy.

"I've never ever checked it out, when I hear it I just hide.

"It's uncomfortable but I think if I don't bother them, they won't bother me.

"Half the time I'm in my own little world anyway so I don't mind."

Pete, who pays £3,250 a month rent, has also revealed he once found a stranger living in a car in his garage!

He added: "A very strange bloke once decided to move into my garage.

"He stayed in the garage for a bit in one of the cars.

"I didn't know who he was, I just knew he was there.

"Eventually I decided to try and confront him and he just ran away and I aint seen him since."
