One Direction star Harry Styles has hit the number one for hair styles, beating Justin Bieber.

Harry knocked Justin off the top spot and his mop top is now the most requested style in the UK according to new figures

With tens of thousands of Brit lads looking to copy his style the demand has rocketed by up to 75 per cent.

David Beckham’s 50s-inspired barnet has also soared in popularity, putting it in second place ahead of Justin’s new quiffed fringe.

Stylist Andrea Daley, from Barbara Daley salon in Liverpool, said: “Harry’s recognised what hair has done for Justin Bieber’s career and wants his locks to help him be just as popular.”

Telly presenter George Lamb’s new mature do puts his style in fourth place ahead of music producer Mark Ronson.

Burberry model Eddie Redmayne is a newcomer in the top ten at No6 ahead of James Bond actor Daniel Craig, pop star Gary Barlow, ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp and Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
