Abbey Clancy hits back at 'trout pout' claims

"I swear I haven't had my lips done!!!!"

Abbey Clancy has laughed off claims that she has had lip surgery by posting a picture of herself with a comically large “trout pout” on Twitter.

She took to the social networking site after pictures surfaced appearing to show the 25-year-old with distinctly fuller lips as she left a WAGS’ Christmas party.

Despite the claims, the wife of Stoke City and England footballer Peter Crouch has denied having any enhancement.

In a tweet alongside the image, she said: “I swear I haven't had my lips done!!!!
#foralltheintelligentpeopleoutthere!”

Twitter users were far from convinced however, with most agreeing she has definitely joined the celebrity “trout pout” club.

One user wrote: “Oh no Abbey Clancey has done a Katie Price by getting the trout pout. What was she thinking?!”

Another said: “Abbey Clancy is just so gorgeous - why on earth would she go for the trout pout?”

Another put it simply: “Just seen Abbey Clancy/Crouch's trout pout. Oh dear.”
