Maxwell Hodge to hold legal surgery for Age UK

Solicitors from Merseyside firm Maxwell Hodge have teamed up with Age UK to offer free advice to over 55s.

Maxwell Hodge staff will be setting up shop at the Bold Street branch of Age UK on Friday, November 25, offering free advice on Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and other legal issues.

Slots for the legal surgery must be booked in advance through Age UK by calling 0151 707 7020. Slots will be available throughout the Bold Street shop’s opening hours on the day.

This new initiative follows on from Maxwell Hodge’s successful monthly surgeries at the Huyton and Kirkby branches of Age UK Knowsley.

It is hoped the city centre surgery will become a regular event.

Gayle Woods from Maxwell Hodge said: “These surgeries offer a chance for people to come and discuss their legal issues in informal surroundings with an expert who can point them in the right direction.

“We have had a great working relationship with Age UK in Knowsley for two years and we are hoping the city centre surgeries will prove just as popular.”
