Popstars James Morrison, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and KT Tunstall are among a number of artists who have collaborated for a unique album in aid of charity.
Songs To Save A Life is a collection of original tracks and covers produced in aid of Samaritans.
All proceeds will help fund the essential 24-hour helpline run by the charity which supports people struggling in their everyday lives.
Other artists contributing to the album include Lucie Silvas, Graham Gouldman of 10cc and Queen Orlenes.
Commenting on her support of the charity, Sophie Ellis-Bextor said: “I’m always a big fan of using music to spread happiness.
“Communication is a huge part in helping people through tough times and music is often a tool for that, I suppose Samaritans is the sort of flip-side of that too.”
Director of Liverpool and Merseyside branch Judith Houghton added, “We are so thrilled that the artists came together to do this album for us.
“All the profits raised will help fund our essential 24-hour helpline service to support anyone with nowhere else to turn.
“We are encouraging the people of Merseyside to dig deep and help us support more people in the community who are struggling to cope.
“Please buy this album and help us to be there for people in their hour of need.”
The album is available to download now from iTunes, Amazon and Play.com.
