Corrie stars party the night away at relaunch of Liverpool Malmaison

Soap Stars and Wags descended on the city to dance the night away at the lavish relaunch of the Malmaison Hotel.

Screen sweethearts Michelle Keegan, Brooke Vincent and Tina O'Brien added a certain amount of stardust to the event which was attended by 400 lucky party-goers.

The Mal, as it is known in the area, first opened it's doors in 2007 but had to be given construction makeover when the building's £2.5m cladding began to come loose.

The prestigious hotel chain certainly put their waterfront venue back on the map with the party which saw DJ sets from Graeme Hawley, who played Corrie murderer John Stape, and local legend Anton Powers.

Also in attendance were Hollyoaks beauties Rachel Shelton, Jennifer Metcalfe, Gemma Merna, Stephanie Waring and Jorgie Porter.

Around 500 bottle of Veuve Clicquot were popped at the party which lasted well into the small hours.
