Liverpool model Danielle Lloyd gives birth ten weeks early

Just days after images revealing Danielle Lloyd's blooming baby bump were published, the model has given birth to a 4lbs 4oz boy.

The Liverpool beauty was not due to give birth for another ten weeks and the baby is currently being treated in a special care unit.

The model tweeted: "Thanks 4 all ur kind messages... Feeling very emotional please pray 4 our little boy hope he can be home with us soon."

In a statement made by her management said the baby "is currently being treated in the special care unit at a hospital near their home in the Midlands".

This is the second child of Danielle and her fiancé Jamie O'hara and was due in September.

Jamie decided to tweet an announcement of the baby's arrival.

He said: "Danielle has delivered our baby this morning 4lb 4oz, 10 weeks early. Baby and Dan are OK. Just letting the hospital look after him".

Earlier this week Danielle graced the cover of Closer magazine recreating the famous pose of Demi Moore.

In an interview with the magazine she stated that she would love her figure back for her wedding day next May but announced proudly that her baby bump makes her feel sexy.
