
Wayne Rooney has jetted out of Manchester airport with his wife Coleen and son Kai, for a family summer break in the Caribbean Sea.
The England and Manchester United hitman, who has just undergone a £30,000 hair transplant, headed out to his lavish holiday home in Barbados.
Wearing a dark blue hoodie and baseball cap to protect his tender barnet, the 25-year-old footballer kept his new look firmly under wraps.
But Wayne then treated his followers on Twitter to the first look at his new follicles, by posting a picture of his head following the expensive surgery.
Writing on his Twitter account, Wayne said: “Hi all there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that's all normal. #hairwego.”
Wayne's wife and footballers WAG Coleen, was escorted straight through passport control with baby Kai, ahead of the nine hour flight.
The 25-year-old fashionista seemed relaxed on arrival, sporting a cream sleeveless top, jeans and leopard print scarf.
The happy couple have a luxury £5 million house that overlooks Mullins Beach on the west of the island, which is a hotspot for the rich and famous.
Neighbours of the Rooneys on Barbados include; Cheryl and Ashley Cole, Simon Cowell, Ant and Dec and singer Sir Cliff Richard.
