Players from Everton and Liverpool showed their support for Aussie goalkeeper Brad Jones' charity last night at a gala dinner.
The football stars came together for the event organised by the Light for Luca Appeal, which was set up by Jones when his son Luca was diagnosed with leukaemia last year.
Despite the five-year-old having undergone a transfusion after a successful donor was found, the youngster condition has now sadly returned.
The four course dinner was attended by Everton club captain Phil Neville alongside midfield stars Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill.
Representing the red half of Liverpool were Joe Cole, Pepe Reina and Jamie Carragher.
Players took part in a charity auction and raffle before being entertained by X-Factor finalist Paige Richardson.
Funds raised on the night also went to support the Anthony Nolan 'Give a Spit, Save a Life' campaign which encourages young men and women to take part in a simple spit test which can help them be easily identified as donors for sick children like Luca.
