Liverpudlian comic hero John Bishop took his drunken heckler handling style back to the old school during his gig in Portsmouth.
The League Of Their Own star offered to escort the druken Pompy bloke outside for a fight in the interval at the Guildhall.
Comedians have to be adept at knocking hecklers back with a quick put down, but they don't usually have to fall back on their fists as a form of defense.
Audience member Reggie Watts said: "John was on great form and had the crowd in thepalm of his hand.
"But one man was giving him a lot of stick and after some banter, John offered to settle the dispute once and for all with a fistycuffs outside.
"It was tongue-in-cheek, but he managed to shut the heckler up."
