Her husband may have been shown a red card, but Alex Gerrard's style always gets the green light.

The 28-year-old looked effortlessly stylish as she enjoyed lunch with a friend after spending a few days in London with hubby and Liverpool FC captain Steven.

The Scouse couple were spotted dining at celebrity favourite Nobu at the weekend, ahead of Steven's derby clash with Everton on Sunday.

Despite reports claiming the WAG stormed out of the restaurant, gorgeous Alex looked relaxed and happy as she caught up with a friend at Liverpool cafe, Neighbourhood.

The mum-of-two opted for ladylike chic in a gorgeous Alexander Wang velvet cape, trademark skinny jeans and slimming knee high boots.

Never without her designer accessories, the blonde bombshell toted one of her many Hermes Birkin bags, in an on-trend nude shade to give her dark outfit a splash of colour.

One onlooker said: "I'm so glad Alex has put her neon tracksuit and Ugg boots look behind her - this look is much more elegant.

"Money can't buy you style but it can get you a gorgeous designer jacket... I'd better start saving!"
