Grey clouds may be gathering over Anfield as December draws to a close - but for Super-WAG Alex Curran, preparations for the new year are very black and white.
The Scouse socialite and wife of Liverpool ace Steven Gerrard, visited her favourite hairdresser for some pre party pampering before hosting her annual end of year celebration.
The mum of two looked chilled out as she took a stroll to Jane Fullerton's hair salon in the leafy West Derby Village area of Liverpool.
Dressed down in her trademark Ugg boots with a pair of grey skinny jeans and a stripey black and white poncho, 28 year-old blonde showed why she is a cut above - even before a roller is in place.
Curran takes on the role of hostess with the most on New Years Eve, as she and her husband, England and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, invite friends and family to their plush Southport pad for a private house party.
One onlooker Dave Edwards, said: "This is a great look for alex, love the stripey black and white, very bold."
"If only Stevie's team mates could pull out some similar matchday magic!"
