Liverpool's Paul McCartney has released exclusive footage from his White House trip to receive The Gershwin Prize.
The Beatles' star is shown accepting the award from President Barack Obama in June in front of an enraptured audience.
The video also features the 68-year-old singing Yesterday during a sound check at the White House and giving an acceptance speech.
Sir Paul said: "It's fantastic for me to be here. I grew up listening to the music of the Gershwin brothers.
"I had no idea of course that one day I might be in such a place getting an honour such as this. I wouldn't have believed you if you'd have told me as a kid growing up in Liverpool that this would happen so it's very special for me."
The four-minute video was posted on the Beatles' star's website and includes McCartney talking to the camera in the car on the way to receive the prize.
