Lost TV star Marc Casabani clocks up a whopping 63,000 air miles a year to get his barnet trimmed after finding the 'best barber in the world' in... LIVERPOOL.

Hunky Marc stars in smash hit crime show CSI NY, Without A Trace and 24 with Keifer Sutherland, but shuns glitzy Hollywood hair salons in favour of Voodou, where a wash and cut costs just £25.

Marc spends flies in to the city, when he is not filming in the US, because his wife Latifa studies Psychology at Liverpool University.

The Egyptian-born actor is a loyal client and refuses to get his hair cut anywhere else, claiming that bald stylist Luke Gorman, is the world's best scissor-snipper.

Marc who boasts celebrity friends such as Kiefer Sutherland and Benjamin Bratt, also holds a pilot's licence, so thinks nothing of trekking half way across the globe for a haircut.

He declared his love for the city saying: “I love Liverpool. The people are always friendly and welcoming. I get over here whenever I can between filming.”

"My wife recommended me to Voodou and now I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a haircut. Luke is amazing.

"He really is the best barber in the world.”

Luke added: "We were stunned when Marc first came into the shop, but it is always a pleasure having him in the chair and hearing about his LA lifestyle.

"I'm proud he says I'm the best in the world and we have become good friends. He comes in every 6 or 8 weeks and we keep in touch on Facebook."
