Trendsetting super-WAG Alex Curran is used to turning heads, and her jawdropping short shorts showed off her Dubai holiday tan to perfection.

The blonde bombshell, wife of England ace Steven Gerrard, was spotted dressed to impress on Friday as she headed to a hair appointment at her favourite Liverpool salon, Jane Fullerton's Hair and Beauty.

Sadly Liverpool skipper Steven, 29, will have to make do with these snaps of his stunning wife, while he endures altitude training in Austria as part of the England squad's World Cup preparations.

But the midfield dynamo will be pleased to see stunning Mrs Gerrard flashing the huge diamond on her wedding ring, dispelling rumours of a rift between the couple.

Complete with uber-chic Dior sunglasses and a striking gold locket hanging from her neck, the 27-year-old stunner cut a striking figure as she showed off her newly styled hair in West Derby, Liverpool.

Looking typically immaculate, the gorgeous model paired her summery jumpsuit with stylish pearl sandals and clutched a #2500 pound Chanel handbag in black leather with silver clasp.

Showing her model's poise as she strutted in glorious sunshine, fans were quick to recognise the self-styled uber-wag, who was laughing to herself as she read text messages on her Blackberry.

Admiring onlooker Claire Davies, 22, said: "You can tell straight away that her tan is real, she looks absolutely stunning.

"I don't blame her for wanting to show her legs off, they look incredible, especially on a hot day like this.

"She's really making sure everyone can see her wedding ring too, it's huge and really catches the sunlight.

"It must be her way of telling the world that their marriage is still as strong as ever."
