England soccer ace Steven Gerrard and super-WAG wife Alex Curran snubbed divorce rumours on Saturday, when they invited comedy favourite James Corden to join them for dinner at their swanky new restaurant.
The couple, who have been dogged my whispers that their relationship is on the rocks, recently bought the ultra-chic venue in Southport, Merseyside, and held hands as they enjoyed dinner with the 31-year-old Gavin and Stacey star.
Steven, 29, bought his favourite eaterie, The Warehouse Brasserie, in April, and has turned the Michelin award-winning diner into one of Merseyside's most exclusive haunts.
And the Liverpool skipper, who is said to be a huge fan of the chunky comic, decided to celebrate the launch with his wife Alex, 27, and funnyman pal.
Another diner at the New York themed bistro said: "James had the pair of them in stiches the whole time, they hardly stopped laughing.
"Steven and Alex definitely didn't look unhappy, they were holding hands and grinning at each other most of the time, they looked like love-sick teenagers."
Wearing a casual blue shirt and jeans, the soccer star and BAFTA-winning actor posed for photos with fans before heading home for an early night, ahead of Liverpool's season finale with Hull at the KC Stadium.
