Kelly Brook says airbrushing made her boobs look "like beach balls"

Kelly Brook used to think her breasts were much bigger than they are because pictures of her would be so heavily retouched.

The model-and-TV-presenter posed for a series of men’s magazines when she was first starting out, and has no qualms about the racy pictures.

Her body was often made to look different, with her legs elongated and her skin made to look smooth. At the time she didn’t mind, but now she is 30 she wishes magazines would show her body as it really is.

Kelly said: “I’ve been quite heavily retouched in the past. With the lads’ mags, it was always blowing up my boobs.

"I thought my boobs were literally that big, like beach balls, but actually they’re not as big as people think.

"I didn’t mind if someone wanted to make my boobs look bigger and my legs look longer, I was fine. But now it’s unrealistic.

"I want to look like myself. I’m not that skinny, or a 10ft Brazilian, and I think women want something more real.”

Kelly is the new face of Ultimo lingerie, and is thrilled to still be winning new campaigns. She recently allowed a British newspaper to print pictures of her which hadn’t been retouched to show women everyone has parts of their body which aren’t perfect.

Although she has a few lumps and bumps, Kelly refuses to tone down the type of pictures she appears in.

She added: “I did one for American Maxim. The photographer said, ‘We want you naked on the back of a Harley-Davidson, driving through the Mojave desert.’ I said, ‘Hell, yeah!’

"Five years ago, I would not have done it. Now, I love it. I’m in thigh-high leather biker boots.”
