Football legends from past and present were out in force at the glamorous world premiere of new film, "Fifteen Minutes that Shook the World".
The glitzy bash was held at trendy Liverpool nightspot Cafe Sports, which is owned by reds ace Jamie Carragher.
A host of invited guests were treated to champagne and canapes, before heading into the adjacent Odeon cinema via a private entrance for the exclusive screening.
After the premiere, guests returned to party into the early hours, entertained by live music and served champagne and food by an army of stunning models.
Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard stole the show on the red carpet, in a blue velvet jacket and white shirt, accompanied by teammate Jamie.
Other guests included reds boss Rafael Benitez and his stylish wife Montse, Anfield legends Kenny Dalglish and Phil Thompson, and soap actress Suzanne Collins.
The movie stars Liverpool FC heroes Gerrard and Carragher, and tells the story of their historic Champions League final win.
But the film is more than just a trip down memory lane for reds fans.
The hilarious parody shows a different side to the popular reds pair, including slapstick scenes where Gerrard receives a boot to the backside, and Carragher expresses his fear for a backlash from Dad Phil if his team lose.
Rafa Benitez, played by comedian Neil Fitzmaurice, is portrayed as a cross between Andrew Sachs' Manuel from Fawlty Towers, and Hollywood superstar Robert De Niro.
The usually sombre Benitez showed a new side at the premiere, laughing hysterically as Fitzmaurice exaggerated his mannerisms. Afterwards the Spaniard laughed with fellow guests, and said the film had his complete support.
Guests were also surprised at how well Gerrard, Carragher, and ex-red Dietmaar Hamaan performed on the big screen.
One party-goer said: "Stevie was amazing, him and Carra were hilarious together. Maybe he could do a Vinny Jones and star in a few movies when his playing days are finished?"
Meanwhile cult film-maker "Illy", who directed the film, heaped praise on his unexpected stars.
He said: "I didn't know what to expect from the lads, but they were incredible, really professional on set and followed the directions perfectly.
"Football's a serious business, so we don't often get to see the funny side of these guys, but Steve is really witty.
"His comedy timing was great, and his facial expressions gave exactly the effect I was looking for."
The film is set to go on general release shortly in selected cinemas, and will be made available on DVD in time for Christmas.
Proceeds from the movie will go towards Jamie Carragher's charity, The 23 Foundation, which provides sports facilities and health awareness to disadvantaged children.
