Members of a Liverpool region family who turned thier own home into a Big Brother-style internet reality show have accused producers of the Channel 4 show STEALING their ideas.
Since Kim and Jack Walmsley and their five children began broadcasting their lives on a website "Barebones.tv" in April, over a million viewers have tuned-in.
But now Jack, 45, has accused Big Brother bosses of stealing ideas from his live broadcasts and using them on the struggling Channel 4 show.
Businessman Jack said: "They've got a damn nerve stealing out ideas they way they have.
"The most outrageous was the day we'd been playing a game in the, here we'd filled an inflatable paddling pool and wrestled each other out.
"Within hours it had appeared as a task on the the Big Brother show.
"We got loads of texts and emails telling us they were playing an identical game.
"It was totally different to the kind of games and tasks they usually do on the show so I’m positive they copied the idea from us.
"Anything else would be too much of a coincidence."
Jack's wife, Kim, also believes Endemol have been watching their cameras in search of ideas.
Kim, 44, said; "We know they’re watching us, because one of them has signed up to our online chat room and sent us some messages.
"We have even been on Big Brother’s Little Brother, who invited us on after watching our broadcast online.
"They really should be able to come up with their own ideas, but maybe now they’re finishing people will start watching us for some originality."
The latest series of Big Brother has come to an end but the Walmsley family have vowed to continue.
Added Kim: "We still love having the cameras here, and we’ve got thousands of loyal followers. We’ve been invited to parties across the UK and a wedding in Sweden.
"Will Billingsley, who plays for the Miami Dolphins American football team, has invited us to join him at his Miami villa, so that Harry and he can race on Malibu beach.
"We hope fans of Big Brother will find out about us and tune in now that Channel 4’s show has been cancelled."
A C4 spokesman denied that any ideas had been "stolen" from Barebones.tv
