Hip hop megastar turned ego-maniac Kanye West has accused South Park 'murdered' him in their latest episode, but said he found the show amusing.
The singer was mocked as a narcissistic figure so out of touch with reality that he is the only person in America who cannot understand a politically incorrect gag started by the show's biggest personality Cartman.
But the Love Lockdown singer answered his South Park treatment on his blog saying that after he saw the episode he is willing to put his massive ego in check.
He claims that he started working on his ego long ago, after his life-threatening car crash, to build up his self esteem but now wants to 'get past myself.'
Kanye wrote: "South Park murdered me last night and it's pretty funny.
"It hurts my feelings but what can you expect from South Park! I actually have been working on my ego though. Having the crazy ego is played out in my life and career.
"As long as people think I act like a bitch this type of shit will happen to me.
"I've got a long road ahead of me to make people believe I'm not actually a huge douche but I'm up for the challenge.
"I just want to be a doper person which starts with me not always telling people how dope (awesome) I think I am."
Last year he proclaimed that he was the 'voice of this generation.'
He was also recently quoted as saying that his greatest regrets was not being able to see himself perform live.
The hilarious South Park episode repeatedly has Kanye refer to himself as a 'genius.'
In 2007, West vowed never to return to MTV after failing to pick up any prizes at an awards ceremony. But he chose to return a year later.
South Park's creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone recently revealed they received a signed photo of Saddam Hussein by US marines after the former Iraqi leader was shown their movie South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut in prison.
The show satirises a wide range of topics, including religion, sexuality and mental illness, and has poked fun at a number of celebrities including Tom Cruise and rapper R Kelly.
