The youngsters wore matching purple 'I love JB' jumpers, grey jeans and pink Converse trainers but Alex, 28, skipped-out on the Bieber-mania merchandise opting instead for a burgundy blazer over velvet and lace leggings and black ankle socks.
There had been rumours before the Friday night show that teenage pop sensation Bieber may be trapped in his hotel room with the police unable to guarantee his safety as he left the Hard Days Night Hotel.
But Merseyside Police dismissed as ludicrous US website reports that they had warned Bieber's management that he could be arrested for "inciting a riot" if he dared to leave the hotel.
Thousands of girls who did not have tickets for his show, gathered outside the hotel where he was staying in the £650 a night McCartney Suite.

In fact Bieber made it to the area in safety where he played to a sell-out audience of 9000 fans.. but he suffered an embarrassing wardrobe gaff when he first came on stage with the fly of his jeans open.
