Cheshire and Merseyside’s biggest dedicated cancer research charity, Clatterbridge Cancer Research, has issued a last call for adventurous and active participants to join its Slovenian Jewel in the Mountain challenge this September.
The trip is designed to deliver a one-off experience for lovers of open spaces, exploration and personal challenges, and contribute towards the charity’s £2m per annum fundraising target.
Including climbing, canyoning, caving, hiking and rafting the rapids on the Soca River in beautiful alpine surroundings, this new Julian Alp mountain challenge has a few places left for those keen to explore the mountain routes of Bovec.
The six day adventure is built around the four key activity challenges and is designed to test participants mentally and physically.
To find out more about joining the trip and raising money to help fight cancer contact Laura Irving on 0151 343 4300 or email laura.irving@clatterbridge.org.
