Liverpool charity Nugent Care recently received a donation of 20 brand new ball gowns and prom dresses from a bridal shop in Cheshire.

Nugent Care's shop on Allerton Road will house the dresses, donated by Orchid Bridal Lounge in Culcheth, which are worth up to £250 each and will be on sale at specially reduced prices ranging from £45 to £65.

Sarah Fairley, who was crowned Miss Liverpool earlier this year, modelled the outfits on behalf of Nugent Care to show off the magnificent dresses to the public.

She said: "It’s great to help a local charity. These dresses are so glamorous and will be perfect for any special occasion that people might have coming up and at such a great price if anyone would like to buy one they better be quick!"

The dresses are available to buy in the shop from today (Friday 15th July) and all proceeds from the sale of the dresses will go to help Nugent Care continue to support vulnerable adults and children in the local area.

Sarah Fairley will also be opening Nugent Care’s 130th Anniversary Zumbathon at Mossley Hill Athletics Club on Sunday 14th August.

Tickets are £5 each and available online at www.nugentcare.org.
