Local radio presenter Linda McDermott joined staff at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in celebrations for Nurses Day.
Linda, of BBC Radio Merseyside, thanked nurses on behalf of all patients, past and present, who have received care at the specialist neurological hospital.
In return, she was presented with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of her support as an ambassador for the centre.
Staff staged a poster exhibition in the hospital reception for patients and visitors, showing the range of care provided by nurses and their colleagues at the internationally acclaimed Walton Centre.
