Houses on the Grizedale, Victoria Fields and St Catherine’s Gardens estates will be bursting with colour in the spring after receiving a hanging basket planted with bulbs from Regenda.

Residents from every property within Victoria Fields and St Catherine’s Gardens were invited to a hanging basket workshop run by the Wirral Wardens, with all bulbs and baskets supplied by Regenda.

Once completed, the Wirral Wardens worked with the residents to fit brackets to each property so that the baskets could be hung up in time for spring.

After receiving a hanging basket, Sarah Daley, from Victoria Fields commented: “The baskets are lovely and help to make the estate look pretty. It’s a really nice gesture by Regenda.”

The Wirral Wardens visited properties on the Grizedale estate with finished baskets and offered to help install them.

Regenda project officer Claire Lomas, commented: “It was a real community effort to get the hanging baskets made up and the children, in particular, really enjoyed getting involved.

"The baskets should bring some extra colour to the estates when the bulbs begin to flower.”

Regenda works with communities to build a sustainable future.
