A leading local doctor will be prescribing a heavy dose of advice and guidance as part of a winter health event at University Hospital Aintree.
Dr Anil Sharma, a Consultant physician at Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, will be giving advice on how to keep healthy during the winter months as part of the Trust’s Annual Meeting, which starts at 7pm on Wednesday, 29th September, at University Hospital Aintree’s Clinical Sciences Centre.
There will also be a variety of hospital and other health teams on hand from 6.00pm to give advice about accessing social care and community health care support plus help to reduce your alcohol consumption and quit smoking.
The event, which is free and open to members of the public, also includes information about the hospital’s new £34m Elective Care Centre and details about the transfer of services from Walton Hospital to the University Hospital Aintree site.
