Land Rover sales rose dramatically last month - a trend welcomed by the firm's Halewood plant.
The manufacturer's UK sales increased by 46% in February compared to the same month in 2009.
And Land Rover believes this is further reason for the firm's Merseyside employees to remain upbeat, after the plant was chosen to make a new model of car.
In September the company confirmed up to 800 jobs will be created by production of the 'baby' Range Rover car.
Following today's sales announcement, Senior Communications Officer Laura Juniper said this new contract, along with Halewood's continuing Freelander production, means the future is looking rosy.
She said: "It's exciting times for Halewood. Another model will increase production there, which, on top of these improved sales, is fantastic."
The firm's move to produce the LRX - hailed as the most fuel-efficient Range Rover - could boost Halewood's workbase to 2,500.
Fears grew last year that there would be hundreds of redundancies at Halewood when the Jaguar X-type production ended, but Land Rover hopes the LRX deal should increase jobs again.
