Leading Liverpool law firm Morecrofts has welcomed former president of Liverpool Law Society Donal Bannon as a partner at their city centre office.

Donal, who is the third high profile partner to be attracted to Morecrofts in recent years, has significant experience in dealing with Insolvency work and is a Fellow of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and a Member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

He said: “I am delighted to join the partnership of a dynamic and forward thinking firm such as Morecrofts following the merger of my firm Bannons earlier this month.

"The combined firm will now be able to offer personal and corporate insolvency services to its clients as well as a broad range of other business services.”

In his 20 year long career, Donal has acted for Liquidators, Administrators and Receivers on the sale of property and litigation issues and has assisted Partners and owners of Businesses on exit strategies.

He has also advised a local Premiership club and has successfully defended directors who have been threatened with disqualification proceedings in the Court of Appeal.

Managing partner at Morecrofts Helen Broughton said: “Donal’s arrival is proof that Morecrofts is a legal practice that celebrates excellence and a company that meets the demands and needs of both corporate and private clients.”
