
Gayle Woods from Morecrofts Solicitors is celebrating after qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
Also a member of “Solicitors for the Elderly”, her wealth of experience in assisting elderly clients with their legal affairs has now been fully recognised by the attainment of her FILEX qualification.
She becomes the third member of staff at the Liverpool law firm to join the national organisation “Solicitors for the Elderly”, which is made up of solicitors, barristers and legal executives from around the country.
Her main aim as a member of SFE is to provide and promote robust comprehensive and independent legal advice for older people, their families and carers.
Gayle, 34, who is has been based at Morecrofts’ Woolton Village office for three years, joins colleagues Gaynor Lanceley and Helen Dring, who have been part of Solicitors for the Elderly for a number of years.
She said: “I am very pleased to have received the FILEX standard and to also be accepted as a member of SFE and enjoy helping older and more vulnerable clients to deal with their legal affairs.
“By having three Morecrofts staff in SFE, I believe this highlights the work that we do in our ever expanding private client sector.
It also shows clients that we are committed to being experts on the services that we offer by joining such acclaimed legal organisations.”
