GT Law move to Liverpool creates 60 new jobs

More than 60 new jobs are being created following leading law firm GT Law’s move to Liverpool city centre.

The expansion to the new 6,000 square ft premises on Castle Street comes after a successful period of activity for the company seeing it outgrow its former offices in Knowsley.

But concerns about the welfare of the 80 staff who have made the move was also a deciding factor.

GT Law director Gordon Tucker said:

“It’s no secret that one of the reasons we’re moving from Kirkby is to protect our staff who’ve suffered with various illnesses which they claim have been caused by the nearby Sonae woodchip factory.

“However as one of the fastest growing law firms specialising in personal injury we also need bigger premises and Castle Street fits the bill.

“We’re an innovative firm and have introduced a range of new products to give consumers a fair deal including a £1500 cash advance for accident victims who make a personal injury claim.”

This month GT Law also opened a high street claim point in Bootle at the Strand and in Kirkby town centre to add to the existing outlets in Lancashire and Hertfordshire.

Earlier this year, GT Law was the first in the UK to offer free legal cover to millions of motorists in England and Wales, which according to latest figures normally costs an average of £30.
